Covid Secure Measures FAQs
We ask all customers to ensure that you do not attend an event or arrive at the venue if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms; this includes a high temperature; a new continuous cough; a loss or change to sense of smell or taste. We also ask customers to act responsibly by not attending an event if they are required to self-isolate under current public health guidance
We are aware of the recent update from the Government regarding plans to make full vaccination a condition of entry to nightclubs and other venues where large crowds gather. We are currently awaiting formal confirmation and guidance to be issued by the Government to understand how our events may be affected, whilst also liaising with our event organisers, concert promoters, the National Arenas Association and our local Public Health team in Liverpool as more information is made available.
Existing ticket holders for forthcoming events will be contacted directly via email if Covid Vaccination Certification is confirmed as an entry requirement for the event they are due to attend.
We will keep customers informed every step of the way as we all get back to enjoying full capacity live events.
From 19 July, it is no longer mandatory to wear face coverings at events; however we welcome the wearing of face coverings across all our events and venues.
There are currently no legal limits on the number of people you can attend events with.
An optional venue check in via the NHS test and trace app will be available at all entrances for customers to use at their discretion. There will no longer be a requested check in or a manual check in for those who do not have the app.
All customers attending events at the M&S Bank Arena will be directed to use the entrance nearest to their seat. Your allocated entrance door will be clearly marketing on your ticket. Due to the relaxing of mandatory covid measures door times will revert to original times of 1 hour prior to the show.
Arrival for events taking place in The Auditorium at the M&S Bank Arena remains through the main entrance to the Convention Centre via the Galleria.
During covid restrictions, we introduced our No Bag policy for all events, this now remains in place as a standard arena security measure across the UK. If a bag is absolutely necessary and for essential items only, this will need to be a see-through bag to allow for efficient, thorough and hygienic security checks. Only one clear bag is permitted per person.
We continue to enhance all clearing before, during and after your visit. Our anti-viral electro static spraying machines will sanitise and protect all surfaces before, during and after all events. Fresh air only ventilation systems are in use throughout all events and regular cleaning will be in place across all toilets and public areas. You will see hand sanitiser units throughout venue which we encourage you to use frequently throughout your visit and prior to entering the venue.
From 19 July, all events will operate without social distancing in place, unless otherwise stated. If an event does operate socially distanced this will be the decision of the event organiser or promoter and will be made clear via the event information before and after ticket purchase.
