Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals
Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals 2023
They’re back and rarin’ to go!
Ten of Strictly’s crack professional dancers will be touring UK theatres throughout May, starting in Hull on May 2 and finally finishing, 31 gigs later, in York on May 31.
There is so much for the audiences to get excited about in this year's tour, showcasing all the amazing dance genres that Strictly is famous for. From a feast of Latin to an incredible Ballroom selection, from the Great American Songbook to a Disney tribute and an 80’s mega mix that will take the audience’s breath away.
There are some showstopping group performances as well as the couples’ dances that Strictly is famous for. The music choices have always been important to the choreography and this tour has so many great numbers that include Let's Dance by David Bowie, Crazy in Love by Beyonce, Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol and Man I Feel Like a Woman by Shania Twain. Plus, some big brass band numbers that will allow the Pro dancers to really showcase what they can do.
But it’s not all about the dancing. This is also a chance for the audience to really get to know the dancers – there will be moments of laugh out loud fun but also time for tears too with some incredible emotional moments. And every last one of the pros can’t wait.
Audiences across the country will enjoy world-class dance, stunning choreography and glamorous costumes, live and up close from 10 talented Strictly Professionals: Dianne Buswell; Vito Coppola; Carlos Gu; Karen Hauer; Neil Jones; Nikita Kuzmin; Gorka Marquez; Luba Mushtuk; Jowita Przystal; and Nancy Xu.
Directed by Strictly’s Creative Director Jason Gilkison, Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals will surprise and delight audiences with dance and choreography at the highest possible standard.
Don’t miss your chance to see these much-loved dancers coming together to perform in a theatrical ensemble that will simply take your breath away.
There is a ticket limit of 8 per person for this event.
