Here you can find out all about The ACC Liverpool Group, which includes M&S Bank Arena, in facts and figures – how many visitors we’ve had, how many events we’ve staged and much more besides…

In our first year we attracted more than 618,000 visitors to 269 events across the event campus, generating an economic impact of £207million to the city region.  Since opening, our campus has attracted more than 8 million visitors to 4,340 events across our entire site and generated £1.9bn in economic benefit for the local economy.

In 2019..

In 2019, The ACC Liverpool Group delivered £221m in economic benefit for the Liverpool city region bringing the overall economic impact since the complex opened to £1.9bn.  During the same period, 160 events – a variety of national and international conferences; public and trade exhibitions and entertainment events - took place attracting more than half a million delegates and visitors. 

Significant Events

The arena has played host to a raft of significant events from both the world of music and entertainment and sport including the MOBO Awards, the MTV Europe Music Awards, the GB Judo World Cup, the British Gymnastics Championships and Davis Cup Tennis, to name but a few.  In 2019 an exciting line-up of superstars from the world of music, comedy, sport and theatre performed including Strictly Come Dancing, Vitality Netball World Cup Liverpool 2019, Little Mix, Michael Buble and Rod Stewart.  Highlights in 2020 include Dua Lipa, Disney on Ice, Gymnastics British Championships and Elton John. The venue will host the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
