We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of event organisers here at M&S Bank Arena. As well as a range of standard layouts, we can also create bespoke layouts tailored exactly to the needs of your event.
The M&S Bank Arena team understands that every event is unique, which is why we treat them that way. We will ensure we maximise the flexibility of the venue to purpose build your event format.
When planning your event we will ensure our team works collaboratively with you to fully understand and deliver all your requirements, on time and within budget. With retractable seating to maximise floor space, and level access allowing trucks to be driven straight onto M&S Bank Arena’s 3,400m2 floor space, flexibility has been engineered into our venue.
Whether you’re planning a large scale concert, an intimate acoustic gig, a tennis tournament or a family-friendly ice-skating show, M&S Bank Arena can provide the perfect layout for you. There are standard layouts, ranging from end stage standing and boxing layout, to ice rink layout and the incredibly popular D-End scalable solution. In addition there is The Auditorium Liverpool right next door in our sister venue and Space by M&S Bank Arena, a blank canvas environment for up to 7,000 capacity.
As well as the performance areas, our Artist Village and Production Offices are also world-class. They are situated close enough to the action, but completely secure. There are also 22 VIP boxes and a VIP Lounge plus 3,725m2 of additional space available in the adjacent ACC Liverpool, providing unrivalled hospitality and backstage options.

Full Arena Seated
M&S Bank Arena Liverpool is a flexible space offering a variety of standard and bespoke layouts. Standard layouts range from just under 4,000 to just over 11,000 but the hall is fully flexible to allow bespoke configurations for musical, entertainment and sporting events.
Standing
With a capacity of 11,000 people and a configuration which provides the flexibility of moving the position of the stage and lighting, M&S Bank Arena is fully equipped to accommodate any event.
Sports Layout
Catering for sporting events as varied as boxing, gymnastics and ice-skating, this flat floor layout is a flexible option, with a capacity of up to 7,500 seats.
SPACE BY M&S BANK ARENA
M&S Bank Arena Liverpool now hosts live events in sister venue Exhibition Centre Liverpool. The exhibition centre can be transformed into Space by M&S Bank Arena for up to 7,000 people – almost twice the standing capacity at M&S Bank Arena. Visitors can enjoy a variety of entertainment ranging from large gigs to dance to major sporting events in the 8,100m² venue, which features three halls.
