THE AUDITORIUM LIVERPOOL - PRODUCTION CASE STUDY
ALADDIN
The ACC Liverpool production team got into the Christmas spirit when it provided full technical services for Aladdin.
It was the venue’s second pantomime to take place in The Auditorium Liverpool.
The team worked with show organiser Shone Productions to deliver full lighting and sound, from design, rehearsals and pre-production stages through to operation. The show featured stunning visual effects including a spectacular flying carpet, brought to life with creative lighting solutions.
Nicky Norman, head of production and technical services, said: “We provided full technical services for Shone Production’s first pantomime with us in 2016 and were pleased to be given the opportunity to deliver production again when they returned to The Auditorium with Aladdin for Christmas 2017.
“We provided creative solutions which enabled us to really showcase the experience and skills of our team in a theatre setting.
“The flying carpet was a particular highlight as our lighting designer Adam Nicholls used his expertise, skill and in-house equipment to create magical visual effects.”
Britain’s Got Talent stars Michael Auger and Ruby Murry, radio presenter Leanne Campbell and Liverpool favourite Dean Sullivan entertained families over the Festive period.
