SECURITY
SECURITY
We constantly review and monitor all of our security and safety procedures across all of our venues. Some of this happens behind the scenes. For example we work closely with Merseyside Police, Counter Terrorism Security Advisors and our event organisers to ensure the appropriate security checks and requirements are in place.
We have a team of dedicated security and stewarding staff who are highly trained and experienced. In addition, you may see police officers on-site.
Please arrive early to allow time to get through our security and safety checks.
Walkthrough metal detectors will be in use at all events. To speed up our security processes please assist by emptying your pockets before hand and following the instructions supplied by our stewarding team on entry.
Detection dogs may be seen around the venue prior to and during events. Again they are an additional measure to contribute to your safety.
We ask you to remain vigilant. Please alert our security or stewards if you notice anything you feel uncomfortable with. Your safety and your enjoyment are paramount to us.
We’re proudly supporting Merseyside Police’s ‘Project Servator’ . We’re working with Merseyside Police as they roll out operational deployments to combat a range of criminal activity, including terrorism. ‘Project Servator’ is a high visibility national counter terrorism policing tactic which relies on cooperation and vigilance from ourselves, other surrounding businesses and the general public to report suspicious behavior.
Bag Policy
For the safety and security of all, and to minimise queuing times, we ask that customers do not bring bags in to the arena.
If a bag is absolutely necessary and for essential items only, we will allow customers to bring one small bag no larger than A4, ideally this would be a clear bag to allow for quick and hygienic security searches.
Exemptions are allowed for medical purposes or for customers bringing changing bags for babies and young children
Please note we do not have left luggage facilities on site and cannot assist in storage of these bags.
The M&S Bank Arena discourages people from bringing banners, posters and flags to any events. We may on occasion permit A4 sized posters, providing they do not contain any offensive content as deemed by the M&S Bank Arena. However, we reserve the right to confiscate these items should we, or fellow audience members, find them disruptive to the enjoyment of the event.
For health and safety reasons banners, posters and flags with poles or strengthening enhancements will be confiscated. If you are unsure whether your banner or flag will be acceptable then please do not bring it to the venue.
The M&S Bank Arena can take no responsibility for any loss or damage to property of this nature brought on-site and strongly recommends customers familiarise themselves with Ticket Conditions of Sale displayed on the reverse of all tickets before attending an event.
