Walk or Cycle

Cycling or walking to the M&S Bank Arena Liverpool is a safe and enjoyable experience. Why not make your way to your chosen event via the city’s pedestrian plazas and waterfront boulevards.

Cycle parking is located on the river side of the venue.

A number of cycle routes enable cyclists to easily get around Liverpool and visit the M&S Bank Arena by bicycle. You can find out more about the routes available from Liverpool City Council’s website. You can take your bike for free on ferries and trains in Merseyside, though remember it's busy in peak hours. Most stations have free, secure cycle storage too. The M&S Bank Arena has its own secure cycle parking.

Citybike, run by Liverpool City Council is the largest public bicycle scheme outside of London, launched in May 2014 and is set to offer over 100 stations within the first twelve months.  Tariff packages available from £3 per day, stations are available at Lime Street as well as across the city centre and waterfront areas.

Walking in Liverpool city centre is an enjoyable experience, not least because it’s the best way to experience the life, architecture and friendly nature of its people. Pedestrianised areas around Liverpool ONE link to the wide Waterfront boulevard, the docks and the M&S Bank Arena.
